Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)/Sustainability Engineer
OBSERVABLE UNIVERSE OF THE COMPANY
Our client, a world's leading steel and mining company, is looking for a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Engineer in order to manage LCA and sustainable development projects and to reinforce its Sustainability R&D team composed of 6 people.
MISSIONS
Reporting directly to the head of the Sustainability team, your missions will include :
- Support the product and process development by carrying out eco-design, LCA or EPDs of new steel products and solutions, particularly in the field of transportation and e-mobility
- Develop strong interaction with the different european R&D centres of the group but also with the academic world related to LCA and sustainability
- Report and communicate results also through scientific papers
- Support marketing and business divisions by providing relevant environmental and sustainability information
- Participate to different standardisation committees or international working groups or scientific congresses
ACADEMIC SPHERE
You hold a Master degree or a PhD with a strong technical background in Environment, Chemistry, Metallurgy or Process Engineering. You have a proven experience in Life Cycle Assessment.
TECHNICAL SPHERE
- Experience in dealing with LCA standards and softwares (SimaPro, GaBi…)
- Proficiency in project management
- Experience in working in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments
- High proficiency in English, French is welcome but not required
SOCIAL SPHERE
- Excellent communication and team-work
- Ability at ease in a team and to work in a network
SATELLITE INFORMATION
- Takeoff date: As soon as possible
- Rocket launch site: possibility to work from any R&D center of the group, depending on the profile
